Texas Leather
This is a single-butt vegetable tanned leather with hairline finish (straight buff finish) produced by TEMPESTI in the Ponte a Egola region of Tuscany, Italy.
Hairline processing is a process in which the leather is polished in a fixed direction using a belt polishing machine, and is so named because it leaves a line of thin hair-like lines. This process is used on the representative leather "ELBAMATT" produced by the same tannery. By applying "ERBAMATT" to the leather, you can enjoy the linear texture created by the hairline finish and the oily yet matte texture.
In addition, the meat used is from a single butt, a part of the cow that is packed with fiber and runs from the back to the buttocks. It is soaked in plenty of oil using the 'Vacchetta' method, giving it a chewy yet soft texture.
In terms of physical properties, it is vegetable tanned and dye finished, so the more you use it, the more the color will develop and the more the leather will develop the luster unique to buffed leather, making it a leather that you can enjoy watching change over time (aging).
This is a compact tri-fold wallet that has been available for some time , but this season's model does not have the card compartment on the outside. The snap buttons are made by Fiocchi from Italy.
