MONGOLIAN BEEF HOODIE designed by Shuntaro Watanabe
The second in my favorite dish series, following EGG FOO YOUNG sweatshirts, is Mongolian beef. I don't know if it still exists, but the first Chinese restaurant I ate was at a random old man's restaurant near the Tacoma PLU campus. I remember jumping up and down because it was so delicious. If you are ordering Chinese food overseas for the first time, you can be sure of ordering Mongolian beef (based on my own research). It is rarely eaten in Japan, but if you have a chance, please try it. I don't really know what it is about Mongolians, but I'm bound to get sick if I can't stop eating white rice. The color scheme is also off.
*This season's sweatshirts have been slightly adjusted in size from last year, and are about half a size larger.
