NANGA

Nanga is a sleeping bag manufacturer that was founded in 1941 by its predecessor, Akira Yokota, in the feather town of Omi, which produces cotton futons.

The company name "Nanga" comes from "Nanga Parbat" in the Himalayas.
Nanga Parbat is the 9th highest mountain in the world at an altitude of 8,126m, and is also feared as the ``man-eating mountain.'' It refers to a difficult-to-climb mountain that has caused many people to lose their lives. It embodies Akira Yokota's desire to ``do it because it's difficult, and climb where no one else can.''
